How to behave when unwanted insects appear in the dormitory
If you notice the presence of unwanted insects in your room or in the common areas of the dormitory, you must immediately report this fact to your economic manager or their substitute.

During the opening hours of the dormitories the fastest way to report an incident is via a mobile phone or in person at the block office (after opening hours at the gatehouse/block reception).
The economic manager will help you with the identification of insects (by a professional company), will information on what measures must be followed in connection with the disposal of these insects, will order a professional disinfestation company to dispose of them and will inform you of the term of intervention in your room.
In the event of bed bugs in your room in dormitories Strahov you will receive the following „Instructions what to do in case of bed bugs infestation“ which are consulted with a professional disinsection company and it is necessary to observe them document. . In the other dormitories you will receive instructions from the economic manager.
As support means for the elimination of bed bugs we allow free washing in all dormitories (5 cycles) and freezing of other personal belongings ( if appropriate ) for 24 hours in the large-capacity freezer at Strahov blocks 4, 7 and 9.
