The renovation has created modern and comfortable accommodation facilities that meet the needs of both students and short-term guests.

One of the first major events to be hosted in the new building will be the 2026 Children and Youth Olympics. The opening ceremony of this prestigious sporting event will take place on 21 June 2026, with competitions being held from 22 to 25 June at 33 sports venues across Prague.
Participants in the Children and Youth Olympics will be accommodated in the newly renovated Block 3 of the Strahov Dormitories. The CTU Facilities Administration (SÚZ CTU) will also provide catering services throughout the event.
