we would like to inform you that we have submitted to the Academic Senate of CTU the new price lists for dormitory and accommodation for the year 2023. We considered this step for a long time, and in the end we were forced to increase the prices due to the significant increase in the prices of energy, goods and services, which the SÚZ CTU used during track operation. The new price lists should be valid after approval, most likely from March 1, 2023. The proposed price increase corresponds to inflation in the Czech Republic, which according to the Czech Statistical Office reached a value of 15.1% in 2022. We try to approach the new prices as sensitively as possible so that the impact of price increases on students is as small as possible. We believe that even after the proposed increase, the cost of living in CTU dormitories will remain at an acceptable level.
